Two major events are scheduled to take place at the American Airlines Center at the same time Wednesday evening.
Katy Perry, who has been on a national concert tour called “The Lifetimes Tour,” is scheduled to perform at AAC on Wednesday at 7 p.m. None of the singer’s social media accounts mentioned anything about rescheduling or postponing the Dallas show as of Sunday afternoon, however.
The Dallas Stars are also scheduled to play at the arena on Wednesday at 7 p.m. It’s a finals game for the team, which is set to host the Edmonton Oilers.
Neither the team or Perry have said publicly that they are planning to postpone their appearance but someone will have to blink and reschedule.
News Roundups
According to TicketMaster, Perry is scheduled to perform in Austin on Tuesday before performing in North Texas on Wednesday. After the Dallas stop, Perry isn’t slated to perform again until July 10 in Denver.
The Dallas Morning News reached out to the American Airlines Center Sunday afternoon but did not immediately hear back regarding any plans for the double booked events.
A customer service agent for Live Nation, which is producing Perry’s tour, said Sunday that ticketholders would be notified by email if her Dallas concert date is postponed or rescheduled.
