The Edina Hornets and Hill-Murray Pioneers boys hockey teams faced off on Friday night at Aldrich Arena.
Chase Crowley opened scoring by getting Hill-Murray on the board with a 1-0 lead in the first period.
He scored again less than a minute into the second period on a shorthanded goal to make the lead 2-0.
Bode McConnell of Edina scored later in the second to cut the lead to one, but not long after, Gavin Sondrea scored on the Hill-Murray power play.
In the final minutes, the Pioneers killed an Edina powerplay and Tommy Miller scored an empty netter to put the game on ice.
Hill-Murray moves 6-2-2 after the win, and Edina moves to 6-3-0.
They rematch tomorrow at 7p.m. in Edina.
