(Las Vegas, NV)–The Minnesota Wild cruised to a 5-2 win on Monday night over the Golden Knights on the road. Marcus Johansson scored on the first shot of the game just :26 seconds in to give Minnesota the early lead. Matt Boldy added his 25th goal of the season to put the Wild up 2-0 after one period. The Wild then exploded with three more goals in the second period as Jared Spurgeon, Brock Faber and Joel Eriksson Ek all scored goals. 

The Wild are currently on a seven game road trip which continues on Wednesday afternoon against the Sharks in San Jose. The puck will drop at 3 p.m.
