A small scene on the players’ bench reveals a lot about Phillip Danault.
It’s not for nothing that several fans are already talking about his presence as an excellent addition to the team. Danault knows Montreal, and he knows what it means to play for the Montreal Canadiens.
In a scene captured after Nick Suzuki’s goal, Danault made a gesture that says a lot about him.

In a short video circulating on social media, Phillip Danault hugged Zachary Bolduc.
On X, Stu Cowan wrote that this young team is fun to watch. He especially asked people to look at Danault’s face on the bench at the moment of the gesture.

This scene shows what the atmosphere is like among the players, especially for a forward who has just joined the team. You can even see Martin St-Louis very happy with the win, and he appears to be jumping for joy.
This is exactly the kind of scene you want to see after a victory, and it’s fair to say the team seems to have a very tightly knit core.
The team sticks together, and it’s safe to say it’s been a very long time since we’ve seen this with the Canadiens.
