LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley has stepped down as the CEO and board chairman of an investment company.
Foley will now serve as vice chairman of the board for Cannae Holdings, the company announced last week. He will still focus on Cannae’s sports and entertainment and spirits businesses.
“When I stepped in as Cannae’s CEO, I initiated a strategic plan focused on rebalancing our portfolio, returning capital to shareholders, and improving the operational performance of Cannae’s portfolio companies,” Foley said in a statement. “I am very proud of what we have achieved across all three legs of our plan and believe this momentum positions Cannae for long term success.”
The current president, Ryan R. Caswell, will take over as CEO, while board member Doug Ammerman will serve as the new chair.
Cannae’s portfolio includes Black Knight Football, which controls the English soccer club AFC Bournemouth and French club FC Lorient.
