The Colorado Avalanche aren’t just one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now — they’ll also be well represented on the world stage this winter.
The Avs will send eight players to the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan, with those players representing five different countries when NHL athletes return to Olympic competition in February.

This marks the first time since 2014 that NHL players will participate in the Olympic Games, making this year’s tournament especially significant for hockey fans.

With eight Avs skating in Milan, Colorado will once again be one of the most heavily represented teams at the Olympics — and one of the most exciting to watch.
