MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Three New Hampshire natives are set to play for the 2026 U.S Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team.

Hilary Knight, who used to reside in Hanover, New Hampshire, Caroline Harvey from Salem, New Hampshire and Cayla Barnes who used to play for the New Hampton School are among the 23 players who were announced Friday.

Hilary Knight, who used to reside in Hanover, New Hampshire, is a hockey forward from the University of Wisconsin and helped Wisconsin win two Division I national championships. Knight also represented the U.S in four Olympic Winter Games and was a member of the U.S Women’s National Team. Additionally, Knight represented the U.S. in various international events and was named the IIHF female player of the year.

Caroline Harvey from Salem, New Hampshire, is a defensive player from the University of Wisconsin. Harvey represented the U.S. at one Olympic Winter Games and is a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team, having played in five International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championships. Harvey has won two NCAA National Championships and has represented the U.S in various other international events.

Cayla Barnes who used to play for the New Hampton School, is a hockey defensive player from Ohio State University. Barnes represented the U.S in two Olympic Winter Winter Games and is a member of the U.S Women’s National Team. Barnes earned a spot on seven International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship Teams. Additionally, Barnes has helped Team USA to win Four Nations Cups. Barnes has also represented the U.S. in various other international events.

The 2026 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team includes 20 other players, with 11 players having Olympic experience.
