The Nashville Predators announced the signing Justus Annunen to a two-year extension on Monday.

The deal, beginning in 2026-2027, will pay the 25-year-old goaltender $2.5 million over the two years.

Annunen has appeared in 12 games for the team this season, starting nine of them. He is 3-5-1 with a 3.29 goals against average and a .875 save percentage.

A native of Kempele, Finland, Annunen was originally selected with the 64th overall pick of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche, with whom he spent the first three-plus seasons of his career. He was acquired from the Avs in the fall of 2024 in a deal that saw Scott Wedgewood head to Denver.

In 64 games across five seasons with the Avalanche and Predators, Annunen is 28-25-4 with a 3.01 GAA and .892 SV%.
