The Nashville Predators visit the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Jan. 6.

The Predators beat the Calgary Flames 4-3 on Jan. 3, winning the game on Nicolas Hague’s go-ahead goal with 28 seconds left. Nashville (19-18-4, 42 points) is in fifth place in the Central Division and three points behind the Anaheim Ducks for the final wild card spot.

Ryan O’Reilly continues to lead the Predators in scoring with 11 goals and 24 assists.

Edmonton (20-16-6, 46 points) is in second place in the Pacific Division, but is 5-5 in its last 10 games. After making a trade to acquire goaltender Tristan Jarry from the Penguins, Jarry was injured on Dec. 18. He’s expected to be out for “several weeks,” according to coach Kris Knoblauch.

Connor McDavid leads the Oilers with 25 goals and 47 assists in 42 games.

The goaltending matchup should feature Juuse Saros for the Predators and either Connor Ingram or Calvin Pickard for the Oilers.

The Nashville Predators vs. Edmonton Oilers game will be televised by FanDuel Sports Network. Streaming is available via FUBO and ESPN+ (outside of the Nashville TV market).
