DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — After not scoring in the first period, Fargo North got the offense going in a 7-4 East Region road win over Devils Lake on Monday.
Devils Lake took a 1-0 lead after the first period, but the Spartans scored four times in the second period on goals by Holden Erbele, Henry Wuitschick, Leyton Olson and Ethan Ness. Fargo North also had three third-period goals from Andrew Schiltz, Skyler Burkhardt and Peyton Rohrich. Schiltz and Jack Bartsch also had two assists.
Dominic Crocker made 19 saves for Fargo North, and Devin Kempel had 26 saves for Devils Lake.
West Fargo girls blank Devils Lake
WEST FARGO — Rachel Spanier and Emma Hassler each scored two goals as West Fargo United routed Devils Lake 8-0 on Monday night.
Payton Stocker, Kaliyah Mattila, Kaylee Augdahl and Soleis Nelson also scored for West Fargo. Spanier and Hassler also each had an assist, and Olivia Van Dam and Emerson Diede each had two assists.
Reagan Wilson had 11 saves for the shutout win, while Delaney Parker had 43 saves for Devils Lake.
