Former Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller is causing more frustration among New York Rangers fans following their loss on Monday night to the Seattle Kraken.

With the club in the midst of a rough patch, winning just two of their last ten games, Miller, who is receiving a ton of criticism from the fan base, shared how he was feeling following the Rangers’ 10-2 loss to Boston on Saturday afternoon.

“That’s as bad as it gets. I don’t know, man. The only thing that really matters now is this should sting, like this should suck. This should make you want to puke, and then respond tomorrow and the next day. The only thing that matters is a response.” Miller said.

He added, “That’s a game where you’re looking for leadership and I got to be better. It’s just unacceptable. Your leaders shouldn’t let games – and I’m talking about myself – get like that. Crowd should never be chanting ‘we want 10.’ Look within. Not try to point fingers and make excuses. It starts with myself and leadership to prevent games like that when you don’t have your best. To not get out of control and hang your goalies out to dry. There’s no point in bitching now. We’re going to let it soak and let it feel terrible inside of us. The only thing that matters is responding on Monday.”

New York Rangers fans growing increasingly frustrated with captain J.T. Miller

During Monday’s game against Seattle, the New York Rangers took a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes and looked like they were in full control, however the Kraken would storm back, scoring four unanswered – two in the second and two in the third – to win by a score of 4-2.

When meeting with reporters afterwards, J.T. Miller was asked what happened after the first period and if there was a dip in the team’s energy level, to which he replied with “I don’t know”.

“I don’t know. I’m sorry, I don’t know” Miller said to the media.

New York Rangers fans were quick to express how frustrated they are with their captain, who has just 11 goals and 24 points in 38 games this season, and took to social media to share their thoughts on the former Canuck.

“No BS!! Here is a bad idea. Let’s go out when we stink and bring in a guy who destroyed a team lock room in Vancouver. Oh yeah, let’s also make him the captain for some reason.” @UncleWolly82 said.

“He’s been such a disappointment. You’re only as strong as your weakest link.” @Jwthegr8 said.

“Say what you want about Trouba but at least he gave a shit. Idk why JT was ever named the captain he might the worst one we’ve had.” @gambl3s said.

“Take the C off his chest.” @rooney_dev123 said.

The New Rangers, who are currently on a three-game losing streak, will look to turn things around on Wednesday night as they take on the Ottawa Senators.
