Sport: NHL
The potential streamer defensemen for this week aren’t as amazing as in some previous weeks, but there are a few that have been picked out that can make a difference, including one that could be much more than just a stream for this week.

Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Defensemen to Target for Week 15
Brandt Clarke, Los Angeles Kings
I can’t recommend Brant Clarke enough for this week as a stream as he is my top pick for you the remainder of the week. The Los Angeles Kings aren’t the best team and don’t score the most, but Clarke has taken over for Drew Doughty on the top power-play unit and has just been contributing offensively a lot more.
Clarke has five goals and 22 points on the season, but has three assists in his last two games, where two have come on the power play. Doughty has fallen off offensively even though he is still on the top pairing, but it opened the door for the young defenseman to step in and provide something no other defenseman on the team has. Clarke isn’t a big hitter, but he will shoot and block shots very consistently. The Kings still have three games to go this week against the Vegas Golden Knights and a back-to-back against the Anaheim Ducks.
Artyom Levshunov, Chicago Blackhawks
When points have come from the defense for the Chicago Blackhawks this season, it has more often than not come from Artyom Levshunov. The 20-year-old defenseman is on the top power play and has been logging more than 23 minutes of ice time per game consistently.
Levshunov has a goal and seven points in his last 12 games, and that’s about the best you can usually hope for from a waiver wire defenseman. There isn’t a game where he is invisible and he has been hitting a ton more in the past few games for banger leagues. With Connor Bedard back (other than an illness), the offense is going to pick up further at 5-on-5 and on the power play. Chicago plays the Calgary Flames andthe Boston Bruins.
Ivan Provorov, Columbus Blue Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets just swapped out their head coach and assistant coach, so there are going to be some big games coming up from the players. This always happens, so we have the chance to benefit from that by adding a defenseman from the team. Ivan Provorov has been playing well and logs massive minutes. If Denton Mateychuk is still day-to-day, Provorov’s role will further increase.
Provorov is on the second power-play unit and on the second pairing. He has recorded four assists in the past six games. The workhorse shoots and blocks shots regularly, and the expectation for the next little while is going to be harder play and better play by the Blue Jackets, giving Provorov the chance to be in on a lot of scoring. The team plays the Vancouver Canucks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Options are limited, but these players will have the chance to perform the rest of the week as streamers. Be sure to come back next Monday for the top goalie streamers, followed by forwards and defense in Week 16.
