Chicago Blackhawks prospects Nick Lardis and Kevin Korchinski earn spots on the 2026 AHL All-Star roster for the Rockford IceHogs.
Chicago Blackhawks prospects Nick Lardis and Kevin Korchinski have been named to the Central Division roster for the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic, set for Feb. 10-11 at the BMO Center, home of the Rockford IceHogs. The IceHogs, Chicago’s AHL affiliate, are hosting the event for the first time since 2015.
Lardis, a forward, earns his first AHL All-Star nod, while defenseman Korchinski secures his second consecutive selection after being named MVP of the 2025 event. Rosters were determined by AHL coaches, with all 32 teams represented and 43 first-time participants league-wide.
However, Lardis’ participation remains uncertain. The 20-year-old was recalled to the Blackhawks in December and has appeared in 15 NHL games, tallying four goals.
Should he stay on Chicago’s NHL roster through the All-Star break, a replacement will be named for the Central Division squad.
