Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:

The Winnipeg Jets were active yet again, recalling Elias Salomonsson from the Manitoba Moose as they’ve placed Neal Pionk on injured reserve in a subsequent move. The Jets are coming off their third straight win with a 5-4 nailbiter over the New York Islanders. They’ll look to extend that tonight with a win over the Minnesota Wild. Winnipeg is 3-5-2 in their last 10 games played.

Minnesota Wild News & Notes:

Minnesota welcomes the Winnipeg Jets to Grand Casino Arena. The Wild are coming off back-to-back losses against the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils, and they’ll look to get back into the win column over their bitter Central Division rival from up north. Minnesota is 4-2-4 in their last 10 games played.

Players To Watch:

Winnipeg Jets

Cole Perfetti has been on an absolute heater in the past few games, and a lot of that can be attributed to his linemates, too. If the Jets’ second line continues to roll the way they have been, that spreads out the scoring in a much-needed way for Winnipeg.

Elias Salomonsson draws back into the Winnipeg Jets’ lineup after recently being recalled from the Manitoba Moose. Salomonsson will look to make an immediate impact with the Jets in his second run with the team and fifth NHL game.

Minnesota Wild

Quinn Hughes has been wonderful since the Minnesota Wild acquired him in mid-December. He’ll look to be a leading force for the Wild as they aim to snap the Jets’ winning streak.

Kirill Kaprizov always performs well against the Jets, and he’ll look to do that again tonight as the Wild aim to snap their losing streak and the Jets’ winning streak.
