RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Badlands Sabres Jr. hockey team is getting ready to host the Great Falls Americans for a set of games this weekend, on Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at the Roosevelt Ice Arena.
The home team Sabres will be wearing specialty-made jerseys donned in pink, purple and black that will be part of a silent auction during the weekend games.
The public can bid on these game-worn jerseys, and all the funds will go to the Monument Health Foundation, Cancer Care Institute. This is one of the biggest fundraisers the team has put on to date, with more than $10,000 already raised.
Tickets to the games are $10 for adults, $6 for students 18 and younger; children 5 and under are free.
