Ottawa Senators forward Nick Cousins is not one of the most hated forwards in the National Hockey League by accident.
He proved it once again last night against Alexandre Carrier and the Montreal Canadiens.
In short, after being assessed a very logical penalty, he turned toward the referee with a look of complete disbelief.
He yelled “ME?”, as if he had done nothing, and that instantly lit a fire among Canadiens fans.
It was probably the most obvious penalty of the season!

The referee’s reaction was hilarious.
He could not believe that Cousins was surprised to be called for a penalty on that play.
Yes, Nick Cousins got people reacting again against the Canadiens.
What makes it even more entertaining is that Cousins is not an unknown in Montreal.
In 2019-2020, he played 58 games with the Habs and produced 9 goals and 22 points.
On the sequence, his reaction gives the impression that he does not even understand why he was penalized.
