The Vancouver Canucks and Patrick Allvin have decided to send Victor Mancini and Nikita Tolopilo back down to the Abbotsford Canucks, they have brought Elias Pettersson back up as well as Jiri Patera to take their place.

“It doesn’t appear that Mancini is getting enough opportunity from the Canucks coaching staff, which is surprising because they are struggling with injuries, and Mancini has shown a ton of promise so far in his career. He needs more reps and ice time to develop in the player he can be.”-Stinson

Vancouver Canucks mix up the lineup with most recent moves.

The Vancouver Canucks posted on their X account the recent moves made by Allvin, and it’s starting to make people wonder if Mancini will ever make this team.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Victor Mancini and G Nikita Tolopilo have been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL), D Elias Pettersson has been recalled from Abbotsford and G Jiri Patera has been recalled from Abbotsford under emergency conditions.

Especially with the Canucks plans to hold on to Tyler Myers for the foreseeable future, there will not be room for Mancini on the right side with the Canucks. If Tyler Myers ends up waiving his no-movement clause, it would benefit the Vancouver Canucks in their rebuild and open up a spot for someone like Elias Pettersson or Victor Mancini to actually get some playing time in the big leagues. And allow them to develop where they belong. But even with a gap on the right side right now due to injury, Mancini cannot make it stick, it’s becoming more grim for him to ever make the permanent move.
