San Jose Sharks goalie Alex Nedeljkovic got into his second career pro fight during the Sharks’ win over the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Defenseman Vincent Desharnais tripped a player in the corner, then was hit from behind by Evan Rodrigues, which went uncalled. Nedeljkovic then jumped into the scrum and was eventually challenged by Bobrovsky, who had skated down the ice.

This was Nedeljkovic’s first fight in the NHL, but the San Jose Sharks goalie got into a fight in 2017 while playing for the Florida Everblades in the ECHL.

This is only the second time a Sharks goalie has been part of a fight. Steve Shields was the only other Sharks goalie to get into a fight. His fight happened in 1999 against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Nedeljkovic finished the game with 37 saves and won his third straight start.
