Sorokin stopped 29 of 32 shots fired his way by Vancouver on Monday. He shut out the host Edmonton Oilers, stopping all 35 in a 1-0 win, in his start before that last Thursday. He was 0-2-0 with a 4.26 GAA and .825 SV% in 2 starts against the Kraken last season.
Grubauer stopped 25 of 30 against Utah in his most recent outing, a 6-3 loss in Salt Lake City on Saturday. It was the first time in 8 starts he allowed more than 3 goals. He hasn’t faced the Islanders since the 2023-24 season when he went 2-0-0 with a 1.85 GAA and .920 SV% in two games against them.

This is the final game of a 7-game road trip that began Jan. 8 for the Islanders. There is certainly concern for an egg laying, especially when they’ve traded wins and losses their last 7 games.
This comes down to strictly talent on the ice, which definitely favors ISLANDERS (-110).
Take KRAKEN TOTAL GOALS SCORED UNDER 3 (-140). It’s a little unconventional, but Seattle has reached 4 goals once in 7 games. Sorokin should thwart that possibility, and if it pushes at 3, you get your stake back.
The Isles are 6-3-1 O/U in their last 10 and Seattle is 5-3-2. The Over is just 3-5-0 in 8 career meetings. It could go either way, and I feel good enough about the previous wagers to avoid sweating out an empty-netter. PASS.
