Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. Forward Martin Chromiak highlighted this week’s update with a goal and six assists in four games in the AHL with the Ontario Reign.
Chromiak’s offensive output has him at 31 points in 39 games with the Reign, which leads the team. The turnaround offensively for Chromiak has been tremendous, considering he was at an all-time low at this point last season and was on the edge of being a forgotten prospect.

His late-season surge earned him another contract, and it has paid off with him producing in a top-six role. In addition to his 31 points, Chromiak leads the team in power-play points with 13 (11 primary points). He is also tied for the team lead in goals (15) and is second in assists (16).
His vision has also improved with his passes connecting on cross ice or backdoor feeds.
