Warmups looked a little bizarre ahead of the Nashville Predators’ matchup with the Ottawa Senators at Bridgestone Arena on Jan. 22.

All 20 players – from Filip Forsberg to Juuse Saros to Luke Evangelista – were wearing the same No. 59.

This is in honor of Roman Josi, who is set to play in his 1,000th NHL game. While the players will go back to wearing their usual numbers for the game, during warmups there was nothing but No. 59 on the ice.

Josi is the 414th player to skate in at least 1,000 games, the 83rd player to do so with a single franchise, and the first ever to do so with Nashville.

A second-round pick by the Predators in 2008, Josi also leads the Predators in career points (752) and assists (554). He was named team captain in 2017, following the brief retirement of former captain Mike Fisher.

Puck drop between the Predators (23-22-4, 50 points) and the Senators is at 7 p.m. CT (FanDuel Sports Network).
