Neighbours skated off the ice, favoring his wrist/hand, after the play at 10:17 of the first period during a Blues power play. St. Louis announced he would not return to the game.

Neighbours has been one of the Blues’ most productive forwards this season, recording 12 goals and 9 assists for 21 points in 40 games. His physical play and willingness to block shots have been key parts of his contribution, though tonight’s incident shows the risk that comes with that style.

His exit is especially concerning for the Blues, who are already missing many of their top players due to injuries, adding to the team’s ongoing injury challenges.
