Wild Beat Blackhawks Again

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are celebrating a 4-3 shootout win over the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday night at Grand Casino Arena. The Wild rallied back from a 3-0 deficit midway through the second period. Jared Spurgeon scored the game-tying goal with two minutes remaining to force a scoreless overtime. Kirill Kaprizov netted the game-winner in the shootout. Minnesota goaltender Jesper Wallstedt stopped all three shootout attempts and made a total of 29 saves. The Wild host the Calgary Flames on Thursday night.
