The Vancouver Canucks are losing in more ways than one this NHL season, with recent rankings of the league’s arena’s the Canucks’ Rogers Arena ranked 29th, with a glaring stat in affordability and fan atmosphere.

“With over 60 percent of the regular season completed for most teams entering action on Thursday, several of them have a good idea on how they’re going to approach the trade deadline and for Patrik Allvin and the Vancouver Canucks, they’re going to be sellers as the club begins their rebuilding phase.”-Jaxon

Vancouver Canucks have embarrassing ranking for Rogers Arena.

Jeff Paterson posted the ranking on X, and it’s not a pretty sight, while the location is the only bright spot of the ranking, Rogers Arena struggles in amenities, atmosphere and most of all affordability.

29. Rogers Arena, Vancouver
CAPACITY: 18,910 OPENED: 1995
Location: 8.7 (12th)
Amenities: 6.5 (26th)
Atmosphere: 5.2 (31st)
Affordability: 2.5 (31st)
Fan score: 5.7 (28th)
Beat writer score: 6.2 (17th)
Overall: 5.8

It seems nothing is going right for the Canucks this season, it’s a hard reality, and it ultimately falls on ownership to do better for its players and for its fans. The Canucks also remain the only NHL team to not have a designated practice facility. It will only make it harder to sign free agents, and also convince players to stay with the club. These problems start at the top and they need to be addressed.
