SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Mammoth were firing on all cylinders in a big 6-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks at the Delta Center on Monday.
Nick Schmaltz started the scoring with two goals in the first period and eventually made it a hat trick in the third. The other three came on one-timers from Mikhail Sergachev, Lawson Crouse, and JJ Peterka.
With a spirit-boosting win under their belt, Utah looks to carry the momentum over against Detroit on Wednesday.
