Jared McCann is the most efficient shot-generator on the Seattle Kraken, leading the team in shots per game and shots per minute.
My Kraken vs. Ducks predictions expect him to have plenty of looks in tonight’s high-paced matchup against Anaheim.
Let’s break down my NHL picks for Tuesday, February 3.
Kraken vs Ducks prediction
Kraken vs Ducks best bet: Jared McCann Over 2.5 shots on goal (+100)
Jared McCann has a solid but unspectacular Over rate of 53% on the season, but his hit rate drastically increases when isolating more advantageous matchups.
McCann has registered at least three shots in 67% of games against Bottom-12 shot-suppression teams, including eight over the past 10.
He already faced the Anaheim Ducks twice this season, recording three shots both times. He always seems to excel against the high-paced Ducks, clearing this line in nine of the last 13 head-to-head matchups, with all four exceptions coming in at two SOG.
McCann is also on two days of rest. He has taken advantage of those situations this season, going Over 2.5 shots in all four games.
That is nothing new for McCann, who has generated 3+ shots in seven consecutive games following a couple of days off.
These are important points for the Seattle Kraken, and McCann will have plenty of time to rest over the Olympic break. Look for him to get a full workload against the Ducks and pile up shots along the way.

Kraken vs Ducks same-game parlay
Mason McTavish has recorded multiple shots in nine consecutive games and cleared this line with room to spare in eight. He is more of a focal point with No. 1 center Leo Carlsson sidelined, and clearly making the most of the opportunity.
Cutter Gauthier is playing on McTavish’s wing at 5-on-5 and skating on the same power play as Chris Kreider and Troy Terry. He has assists in four of his last six without Carlsson in the lineup, and is playing with the right guys to help him get one tonight.
