I didn’t see Devon Toews in the video, which made me wonder whether he’d fly in a day or two late, as discussed last month when he initially made the team. But that won’t be the case.
Toews flew in with the team.

Around The NHL
Boston Hockey Now: Team Czechia announced that forward Pavel Zacha will miss the tournament due to an injury. That’s a bit hit to a roster that was already top heavy. Zacha, along with David Pastrnak, Martin Necas, and Tomas Hertl, was going to play a huge role up front.
Forever Blueshirts: Why the Rangers would be wrong to give up on Brennan Othmann.
Philly Hockey Now: The Flyers entered the break on a high note. But their recent stretch of games have been anything but that. Philadelphia has collected just 10 of 30 points over its last 15 games. Is it time to alter their trade deadline plans?
