The passion of Montreal Canadiens fans is always impressive, especially when it comes to their captain.

The NHL Players’ Association (NHLPA) learned this the hard way in the past few hours, while trying to generate some excitement around Team Canada’s departure for the Milan Olympic Games.

The association’s official account published a visual asking internet users: “Where are you sitting on the plane on the way to Milan?”

The image featured a virtual airplane cabin layout filled with stars from the Canadian lineup, ranging from Sidney Crosby to Connor McDavid, including Cale Makar and even replacement player Seth Jarvis.

In fact, all the players were there or almost!

A post featuring a Team Canada lineup is removed due to forgetting Nick Suzuki

One major omission quickly jumped out to fans: Nick Suzuki was nowhere to be found on the graphic.

Let’s be honest—forgetting the captain of the Montreal Canadiens, who is also obviously an official member of the Olympic roster, was a recipe for massive backlash.

The post was flooded with comments from Montreal fans asking, “Where is Nick Suzuki?”

Faced with the wave of dissatisfaction and the mockery from Canadiens fans, the NHLPA ultimately made the radical decision to simply delete the post entirely.

Here is the graphic in question:

“They deleted the post after getting trolled by Habs fans.”

It’s a small storm in a glass of water, but it once again shows that Canadiens fans watch everything closely and demand respect for their players.
