MOORHEAD — Zac Zimmerman and Joey Cullen each had four-point nights as Moorhead dominated Brainerd for a 7-1 win at the Moorhead Sports Center Tuesday night.
Zimmerman recorded a hat trick and an assist, while Joey Cullen had two goals and two assists. Max Cullen had a goal and an assist, as did Brandon Mickelson, for the Spuds, who raced out to a 4-0 lead after the first period.
Brandon Mickelson scored the other Spuds goal and he also added an assist, while Tyden Bergeson tallied two assists on the night.

The Spuds outshot the Warriors 37-6. Nolan Cook had five saves, and also recorded an assist for Moorhead in the win, while Griffin Bartholomaus made 30 saves for the Warriors.
Moorhead improved to 19-3-1.
Carter Salberg’s 2 goals help lift Davies over North
FARGO — Fargo Davies scored three times in the first period and never looked back en route to a 4-1 win over Fargo North at Farmers Union Insurance Center on Tuesday.
Carter Salberg, Dylan Salberg and Kasen Currence all found the net for the Eagles to make it 3-0 after one period.
North’s Colin Holt made it 3-1 at the 12:57 mark of the second before Carter Salberg tacked on his second of the game for Davies just over a minute later.
Final shots were 32-25 in favor of Davies. The Eagles’ Breckun Metcalf finished with 24 saves in the victory while the Spartans’ Dominic Crocker recorded 28 saves in defeat.
Davies went 1-for-2 on the power play while North finished 1-for-8.
Joe Linstaedt and Mason Pederson each added two assists for Davies to join Salberg with two-point nights. It was the Eagles’ fourth straight win, improving to 13-8.
North dropped to 11-9.
Shanley blanked by Red River on road
GRAND FORKS — Fargo Shanley was unable to find the net in 4-0 road loss on Tuesday to Grand Forks Red River at Eagles Arena.
The Roughriders were led by a two-goal performance from Kale Gruenberg. Caden Ulmer and Chace Kalka also netted goals for Red River, which improved to 16-5.
Gruenberg added an assist for a three-point effort. Ulmer and Griffen Haagenson each finished with two points.
The Roughriders outshot the Deacons 41-13. Rilan Korynta earned the shutout in net with 13 saves.
Red River went 2-for-3 on the power play while Shanley was 0-for-3.
Shanley fell to 8-11-1.
Central topples West Fargo for 12th straight win
WEST FARGO — Trey Clauson’s five-point night paced Grand Forks Central in an 8-4 win over West Fargo at the West Fargo Sports Arena Tuesday.
Clauson netted two goals to go with three assists as the Knights improved to 19-2 with their 12th straight victory. West Fargo dropped to 3-18.
Cooper Deziel added two goals and two assists to finish with four points for Central while Logan Nielsen, Bodee Burris, Ryder Rivard and Gavin Wockenfuss also had multi-point efforts for the Knights.
Ian Skari, Quinn Bosch, Ryan Camarillo and Jack Josephsen all tallied goals for the Packers. Skari and Brody Medina each finished with two points.
Central outshot West Fargo 53-11. Rylan Burke earned the win in net with five saves on nine shots faced.
Central went 1-for-2 on the power play while West Fargo was 1-for-4.
Mustangs cruise past Spoilers
GRAFTON, N.D. — Three-point efforts from Bennet Benson, Oliver Leshovsky and Taylor Zander propelled West Fargo Sheyenne to a 6-0 road shutout of Grafton/Park River at Centennial Center Tuesday.
Benson and Leshovsky each recorded two goals and an assist while Zander tallied three assists. Cruz Fitzpatrick picked up the 29-save shutout in goal as the Mustangs improved to 13-8.
Aven Bredvik and Karson Krebsbach also added goals for Sheyenne, while Wyatt Mattson and Brody Benson each added assists.
Grafton/Park River dropped to 7-13.
