KEVIN FIALA’s Winter Olympics are over following a nasty-looking injury to his left leg.
The Los Angeles Kings winger has been representing his native Switzerland at the Milan Cortina Games.

But his tournament has come to an end after he sustained a leg injury in his nation’s 5-1 defeat to Canada.
Fiala suffered the injury with just three minutes remaining of the match.
He fell onto the ice after backing into a hit from Tom Wilson, which resulted in both their legs getting tangled.
Fiala was unable to get back to his feet, prompting a medical stoppage.

And he had to be stretchered off the ice with the injury.
A cast supported his leg as he was wheeled off the surface and taken away for additional medical care.
In the immediate aftermath of the injury, Switzerland head coach Patrick Fischer said: “I haven’t seen him yet.
“I think he went to the hospital. Obviously it doesn’t look very good.

“Tough moment for Kevin and the whole team, obviously.”
Fiala, a 12-season NHL vet, has undergone surgery but has yet to issue a statement on his condition.
Fiala’s Kings team-mate and Sweden star Adrian Kempe said the injury: “Obviously, it’s sad.
“And it sucks for him and for us. Sad for him.
“It’s something that we’ve been looking forward our whole life, coming to play here [in the Olympics.]
“Going down like that, it’s really tough for him personally and for us as a team, how much he means to our team back home in LA.”
