David Pastrnak’s Olympics are over after Czechia fell to the Canada in overtime Wednesday in the win-or-go-home quarterfinal.

The Boston Bruins star finished his first Winter Olympics with two goals and three assists in five games.

Pastrnak put the Czechs ahead 2-1 in the first period on the power play, but Canada never went away and forced overtime en route to the eventual thrilling win.

Canada previously beat Czechia, 5-0, on Feb. 12.

Pastrnak admitted prior to Czechia’s game against Denmark on Tuesday that he needed to be better, and had arguably his best performance Wednesday.
