There will be a watch party with Sabres’ legends Gilbert Perreault and Mike Foligno at Seneca Niagara on March 5.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is hosting a free watch party for the Buffalo Sabres’ March 5 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins with two former Sabres’ legends.

Former team captains Gilbert Perreault and Mike Foligno are expected to attend the event at Stir, the bar next to the gaming floor.

“We are bringing all of the excitement of a Buffalo home game to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for what promises to be one of the most exciting nights of the season,” said Steve McCarthy, Vice President of Operations, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. “We can’t wait to welcome Gilbert Perreault, Mike Foligno, and all of the fans who are ready to cheer on the Sabres and meet two of the best who ever played in Buffalo.”

Fans can watch the game on a 43-foot video wall.

“We know that Buffalo has the best fans anywhere, and Mike and I are ready to be part of the excitement on March 5,” Perreault said. “The hockey atmosphere in Buffalo is incredible, especially when the team is playing so well. Even though this is an away game, I’m sure the viewing party will feel like a home game. I’m excited to be there with the fans.”

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a chance to meet Perrault and Foligno and an opportunity to take photos. The former players will not be doing autographs, and no outside merchandise will be allowed.

The game starts at 7 p.m. There will be a T-shirt toss, games, raffles, prices and more. There will also be a Q&A with Perrault and Foligno.

The party is open to hockey fans 21 and over. You do need to pre-register. For more information and to pre-register to attend the event, check out the Seneca Niagara Casino website
