The city is coming alive with red, white and blue for Team USA, and even our nightclubs are joining in! After securing the Olympic gold medal in a 2-1 win against Canada, the U.S. men’s hockey team will have an official victory celebration going on in downtown Miami.
It’s the first gold medal since the legendary 1980 “Miracle on Ice,” with Jack Hughes scoring the epic game-winning goal just 1:41 into overtime. And seeing as some of the players on the team are locals (such as Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers), it would make perfect sense for them to fly in from Milan to make it to our official championship headquarters: E11EVEN.
It’s the exact same venue where the Panthers racked up a $500,000 bar tab after their back-to-back Stanley Cup wins (which the club generously covered) and where the Indiana Hoosiers recently partied after their college football National Championship win. And Team USA are keeping the tradition alive with this unique victory lap happening tonight, February 23rd.
Entry is complimentary (must be 21+ with a photo ID to attend) and there will be an open bar from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Find all the details below.
