The Devils lost their last game 2-1 on Wednesday night to the Buffalo Sabres. In their previous five games, the Devils have a 1-4-0 record, scoring 1.2 goals per game while conceding three. This will be the third time these two teams have met this season. The Devils have a 1-1-0 record against the Penguins this year.
Pittsburgh Penguins & Notes:
The Penguins beat the Sabres in their last game before the Olympic break, 5-2, on February 5th. In the five games heading into the break, the Penguins had a 3-1-1 record, scoring 4.6 goals per game while giving up 3.2. The Penguins lost their last game with the Devils 2-1 in a shootout back on November 8th. They have a 1-0-1 record against the Devils this season.
