Wyatt Johnston is etching his name in the Dallas Stars’ record books.

The 22-year-old center officially broke a Mike Modano record Wednesday night when he scored his 19th power play goal of the season. Modano previously held the Dallas single-season record when he scored 18 power play goals during the 1993-94 campaign.

The Stars’ franchise record for power play goals in a season is held by Dino Ciccarelli (22 power play goals in 1986-87).
