It didn’t take long for the Dallas Mavericks to make another roster move following the team’s decision to waive recently acquired guard Tyus Jones late Friday night.
The Mavericks are signing two-way guard Ryan Nembhard to a new two-year contract, a person familiar with the move confirmed to The Dallas Morning News. The deal will also include a team option for the 2026-27 season.
Nembhard has averaged 9.9 points and 6.1 assists per game with a 44.4% 3-point shooting percentage in 17 starts as a rookie. He has appeared in 38 total games so far this season.
The 29-year-old Jones was acquired by the Mavericks as a tack-on to the Anthony Davis trade just before this season’s trade deadline.
