Former Vancouver Canucks fan favorite and Hockey Night in Canada co-host Kevin Bieksa rips into Roope Hintz and the Dallas Stars for disrespecting Connor McDavid after injury.Even after the smack down that the Edmonton Oilers put on Mikko Rantanen and the Dallas Stars in game three on Sunday, a lot of the narrative heading into the game was about the drama that took place in game two where Hintz took a dirty slash from Darnell Nurse, who needed to be helped off the ice.

I hope Roope Hintz still has a left leg after Darnell Nurse tried to chop it off.

Former Canucks legend Kevin Bieksa has choice words for Roope Hintz and the Dallas Stars

Due to the play, Roope Hintz was forced to miss Game 3, and for some reason, former Canucks star Kevin Bieksa called him and the Dallas Stars out for disrespecting Connor McDavid.

«If McDavid got slashed like that and carried off the ice, he wouldn’t be playing two days later. Hintz made it look like a serious injury, and clearly it wasn’t»

Cleary, Bieksa has a strong opinion about how Hintz reacted to getting slashed, basically saying he was soft and that if McDavid got hit like that, he would still have played.

Obviously, his comments kind of turned on him as Hintz did end up sitting out the game due to injury.

As a player who always played on the line and was no afraid to get physical and he has been outspoken in the past for players “flopping” or not being able to handle the aggressiveness that comes along while playing hockey.
