(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild snapped a two-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Grand Casino Arena. Brock Faber scored in the fourth minute of the game, and the Wild led the rest of the way. Mats Zuccarello, Yakov Trenin, Quinn Hughes, and Kirill Kaprizov also lit the lamp in the victory. Minnesota is in third place in the Central Division with 82 points. The Wild visit the Golden Knights on Friday.

In other team news, the Wild are adding to their offense. The team traded for Nashville Predators forward Michael McCarron yesterday. Minnesota sent a 2028 second round pick back to Nashville to complete the deal. McCarron spent the last six seasons with the Preds. The 30-year-old has five goals and seven assists in 59 games this season.
