The Chicago Blackhawks are working on a trade that would send Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Andrew Mangiapane and a protected first-round pick in 2027, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.
LeBrun adds that the Blackhawks will retain 50 per cent of Dickinson’s salary.

Dickinson, 30, has six goals and 13 points in 43 games with the Blackhawks this season.
The 6-foot-2 centre is on the final season of a two-year, $8.5 million contract that carries a cap hit of $4.25 million. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Drafted 29th overall by the Dallas Stars in 2013, Dickinson has 74 goals and 168 points in 541 career games split between the Stars, Vancouver Canucks, and Blackhawks.
His best offensive season came during the 2023-24 campaign where he registered 22 goals and 35 points in 82 games with the Blackhawks.
