Toronto Maple Leafs
Goaltender Anthony Stolarz gets the start in net tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning as the Maple Leafs look to snap a six-game losing streak since returning from the Olympic break.
Stolarz, 32, is 7-8-9 in 20 appearances this season while recording an .891 save percentage and 3.37 goals-against average. In his last outing, he made 44 saves in a 4-3 shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday.
The Maple Leafs made a few moves before Friday’s trade deadline as forwards Nicolas Roy, Bobby McMann and Scott Laughton were all moved for draft picks.
Defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson is also set to return to the lineup after being a scratch the last two games for roster management purposes before the deadline.

Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings have recalled forward Michael Brandsegg-Nygard from the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins under emergency conditions.
Brandsegg-Nygard, 20, has 16 goals and 37 points in 50 games with Grand Rapids this season.
He has also skated in nine games with Detroit, where he has one assist.
Drafted 15th overall by the Red Wings in 2024, this is the Oslo, Norway native’s first professional season in North America.
Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin was injured in Friday’s 3-1 loss to the Florida Panthers. He took an awkward fall during the third period and appeared to injured his right leg. He left the game and did not return.
Detroit next plays on Sunday against the Devils.
