We open up NHL predictions with our featured matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. Joseph Woll is the expected starter for Toronto but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Maple Leafs are 3-5-2 in their previous 10 games, including seven consecutive losses. William Nylander leads the team in assists (38) and points (59) so far this campaign.

Jakub Dobes is the confirmed starter for this game as Montreal will turn to Samuel Montembeault against the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. The Habs come into this game on a 6-1-3 run in the last 10 games. However, Montreal has dropped three of their last five games entering this meeting with its old rivals. Cole Caufield is three goals away from hitting the 40-mark with 37 so far.

The tables have turned, and it’s Montreal on the rise. It will be a tough game, but the Habs will get the victory.

Prediction: Canadiens win 3-2.
