The Philadelphia Flyers are sending forward Cooper Marody to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for future considerations. Marody will report to the Coachella Firebirds. Marody in 41 games this season has 25 points on eight goals and 17 assists. He’s a minus-four with two power-play goals and three game-winning goals.

Cooper Marody
Marody started his AHL career with the Bakersfield Condors where in three games he had a goal and two assists. He was a plus-three with that lone goal coming on the power-play. Marody spent five seasons in Bakersfield appearing in 182 games recording 175 points on 67 goals and 108 assists. He was a +51 with 17 power-play goals and 11 game-winning goals.
Marody then spent the last four seasons with the Phantoms appearing in 162 games recording 122 points on 43 goals and 79 assists. He’s a -22 with 13 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and six game-winning goals. Marody has appeared in 344 AHL games recording 297 points on 110 goals and 187 assists. He’s a career +29 with 30 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and 17 game-winning goals. In 24 career Calder Cup Playoff games he has 13 points on three goals and ten assists. He’s a minus-six with a game-winning goal. In 15 playoffs with Bakersfield, he had five points on two goals and three assists. He was a minus-five. In nine playoff games with the Phantoms, he had eight points on a goal and seven assists; he was a minus-one.
