The Chicago Blackhawks (25-29-11) wrap up their quick two-game road trip on Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights (30-22-14) at T-Mobile Arena.

Saturday marks the third and final matchup between the Blackhawks and Golden Knights in the 2025-26 season, with the two teams splitting the first two tilts. Both games needed more than 60 minutes to determine a winner, with Vegas winning 4-3 in a shootout on Dec. 2, while Chicago won 3-2 in overtime on Jan. 4. In the last meeting, Tyler Bertuzzi was responsible for all three goals for the Blackhawks, capping off his second hat-trick of the season with the overtime winner.

Last time out, the Blackhawks defeated the Utah Mammoth for the second time in three days, winning 3-2 in overtime at the Delta Center on Thursday. Bertuzzi recorded his team-leading 28th goal of the season, while Frank Nazar also scored, extending his point streak to a career-best five games. Connor Bedard tallied the overtime winner and added an assist for his third multi-point effort in the last five games. Spencer Knight stopped 29 of 31 shots faced for his 17th win of the season.

The Golden Knights are coming off a 6-2 win at home over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday to vault back into second place in the Pacific Division. Pavel Dorofeyev, Vegas’ leading goal-scorer, found the back of the net twice, while Jack Eichel, Colton Sissions, Mitch Marner, and Brayden McNabb also scored. Adin Hill stopped 24 of 26 shots to earn the win in net.

Vegas’ win over Pittsburgh was much-needed, as they had dropped five of their first six showings in March. Despite the recent skid, the Golden Knights have 74 points through 66 games and trail the division-leading Anaheim Ducks by only one point. They currently have a six-point cushion for a playoff spot over the San Jose Sharks, the top team on the outside looking in.

Here’s everything else to note before the puck drops at 9:00 p.m. CT in Las Vegas.
