The Boston Bruins won a game on the road, marking the first time since January 17.

The Bruins closed out their season series with the Washington Capitals yesterday in the nation’s capital, and with the win, they completed the sweep of the season series. The Bruins won each of the first two games 3-1, then won 3-2 on Saturday.

There was a scrum with 10 seconds left in the Bruins-Sharks game on Thursday due to a Charlie McAvoy hit on Kiefer Sherwood. The Sharks’ forward was not happy about it.

Around the NHL, the Maple Leafs are hopeful that their captain will not need surgery, and a Sharks rookie left the Sharks-Canadiens game yesterday after a high hit.

Also, the Bruins move up in the standings; the Red Wings lost in OT.
