The Toronto Maple Leafs signed college forward prospect Brandon Buhr to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.

Buhr will join the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies for the remainder of the season on an amateur tryout.

The 23-year-old native of Fort St. John, B.C., has played the last three seasons with Union College in Schenectady, New York, netting 19 goals and 17 assists over 35 games this season.

Overall, Buhr has played in 106 games for Union, producing 49 goals and 39 assists.
