Winnipeg Jets vs New York Rangers
Head-to-Head: Jets 0-1 Rangers
How to Watch: US TV: MSG; ESPN+. Canada TV: TSN3.
Time: Noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
We open up NHL predictions with our featured game between the Winnipeg Jets and the New York Rangers. Eric Comrie is the expected starter for Winnipeg but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Jets are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games but are on a three-game losing streak entering this matchup. Mark Scheifele is tied with Kyle Connor for the team’s lead in goals scored with 31.
Igor Sheterkin is the probable starter for the Rangers, but we could see Jonathan Quick get the call with the Blueshirts playing the Ottawa Senators on Monday. New York is 5-4-1 in its previous 10 games but also on a three-game losing skid entering this afternoon affair. Mika Zibanejad has been a bright spot with 29 goals, 37 assists, and 66 points.
Both teams have fallen well short of expectations. However, the Rangers get the rare home win.
Prediction: Rangers win 3-1.
