The Tampa Bay Lightning (43-21-4) defeated the Edmonton Oilers (34-28-9) 5-2 at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Saturday night. With the win, the Lightning have won their third straight game on their road trip through the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada.

Nikita Kucherov had two goals and two assists in this game. He now has 12 points (six goals and six assists) in his past three games and has 118 points on the season. This gives him the NHL scoring lead over Connor McDavid from the Oilers, who has 116 points.

The Lightning wrap up their western swing on Sunday night when they play the Calgary Flames in the second game of a back-to-back. Puck drop between the Lightning and Flames is scheduled from Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary.
