The Sharks lost their last game 4-1 on Saturday to the Flyers, making it four straight. In their Previous five games, San Jose has a 1-4-0 record, scoring 2.4 goals per game while allowing 4.6. This will be the first of three meetings between the Sharks and Predators. Timely as the Sharks are five points back from Nashville for the final Western Conference Wild Card spot with two games in hand. They would need to leapfrog Seattle 71 points and the Kings 73 points as well, but they have a game in hand to end the season on them, as well.
Nashville Predators News & Notes:
The Predators won their last game 3-2 in overtime over the Blackhawks on Sunday. In their last five games, the Predators have a 4-1-0 record, scoring three goals per game while conceding two. Nashville holds the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference heading into play on Tuesday, with the Kings, Kraken, and Sharks close behind them.
