Carrying a three-game losing streak, the Dallas Stars are hoping to regain some positive momentum on the road.
Dallas will take on the New York Islanders on Thursday at UBS Arena. The Stars and Islanders have already faced off once this season in what ended up as a 3-2 Dallas loss at American Airlines Center.

Dallas hasn’t had the best time at the home of the Islanders
While the Stars own a strong road record this season (21-7-7 in games away from AAC), they may face a tough challenge at UBS Arena. The Stars own a 22-30-11 record in road games played against the Islanders.
Luckily for Dallas, it hasn’t been too long since the Stars beat the Islanders on the road. Dallas defeated the Islanders by a 4-3 score on Feb. 23, 2025 at UBS Arena. Jason Robertson scored a hat trick in that Stars victory.
Can Robertson strike again?
Robertson will be a player to watch Thursday night as he looks to add to his impressive recent stretch. The Stars forward has posted 11 points (five goals, six assists) in his last seven games. While Dallas fell against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, Robertson stood out with three points (one goal, two assists).
He needs one more goal to reach 40 on the campaign. Robertson has posted eight goals in nine career games played against the Islanders. Can he add to that tally Thursday night?
