Pierce worked as an NHL reporter for the Minnesota Wild.

Days after the 37-year-old’s death, the Tampa Bay Lightning welcomed the Wild with an open spot in the press box for the longtime writer.

The Lighting’s social media account posted a picture of the spot in the media room reserved for Pierce before their game against the Wild on Tuesday night.

A vase of flowers and Pierce’s name on a card were shown in the photo.

Jessi Pierce’s heartbroken co-host reveals how she’ll honor NHL reporter

Before puck-drop, Tampa Bay’s arena held a moment of silence.

Pierce died in a house fire with her children: Hudson, 8, Cayden, 6, and daughter Avery, 6.

The NHL released a statement on Pierce and her kids’ deaths on Sunday.

“The entire National Hockey League family sends our prayers and deepest condolences to the Pierce family on the passing of Jessi Pierce and her three young children,” the league said.

“Jessi loved our game and was a valued member of the NHL.com team for a decade. We will miss her terribly.”

The Wild also paid tribute to Pierce.

“The Minnesota Wild organization is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Jessi Pierce and her children,” the team wrote on X.

“Jessi was a kind, compassionate person who cared deeply about her family and those around her.

“She served as a dedicated ambassador for the game of hockey during her time covering the Wild and the NHL.

“Jessi and her children will be greatly missed.

“Our thoughts and condolences go out to their family, friends, and all who knew and loved them.”

A GoFundMe page has been made to support Pierce’s family.

Pierce’s family, Miike, is the only surviving member of the family.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of Jessi Hinrichs (Pierce), her three children, and their family dog,” the GoFundMe page states.

“Jessi had a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger heart. She was devoted to her family, going above and beyond to create many moments of joy and everlasting memories.

“The children, each with their own unique personalities, shared Jessi’s zest for life and love for adventure.

“They leave behind Mike, husband to Jessi and loving father of their children, who is now experiencing an unimaginably difficult time.

“We are raising funds to cover funeral expenses and to provide financial support for the family during this period of grief.” Any contribution is appreciated.”

At the time of publishing, the GoFundMe page raised $210,000-plus.
